Avlon Affirm Normalizing Shampoo is a concentrated post-relaxer shampoo specially developed to help remove residual relaxer and return freshly relaxed hair to its normal pH range. Designed as Step 4 of the Affirm Relaxer System, it thoroughly cleanses while helping condition, detangle and smooth the hair following chemical relaxing.
A built-in color indicator helps determine when the normalization process is complete. The shampoo lather appears pink when residual alkalinity remains and changes toward white as normalization is completed, helping ensure that traces of relaxer have been thoroughly removed.
The conditioning formula also helps reduce surface porosity, realign and close the hair cuticle, improve manageability and leave freshly relaxed hair feeling soft, smooth and tangle-free.
